AUS NRW - FROM NORTH WEST of GERMANY

 Während ich noch fleißig an T-Shirt und Hochzeitsdecke arbeite, möchte ich meinen Lesern einige Fotos zeigen, die ich von einer lieben Freundin und einer lieben Cousine aus NRW erhalten habe. - While I am still busy with  T-shirt and wedding quilt I like to show some photos which I received  from a dear friend and my dear cousin both living close to my hometown where I grew up.

 Anna, meine Freundin,  Quilterin aus Leidenschaft, beschäftigt sich mit Oberflächengstaltung verschiedenster Art . Dabei verwendet sie gerne  Blumenmotiven , die sie als Karten verarbeitet. - My friend Anna is a passionate quilter and gets lots of inspiration from her beautiful garden. These small  flower quilts will be made into cards. 

 Ein Quilt in Rottönen war das Ziel. Die kleinen Mosaiksteinchen sind eine hübsche Abwechslung. Zur Kompositionen dieser Art fallen mir 2 Bücher ein, die gute Inspirationen liefern: "Intuitive Color & Design" von Jean Wells, "Create your own freeform quilts" von Raynes Gillmann.
Die Stoffe sind Pima Cotton und von mir gefärbt. - Anna wanted to create a composition in reds. I like that she uses different sizes of a rectangle. For compositions this kind 2 inspiring books come to mind : "Intuitive Color & Design" by Jean Wells, "Create your own freeform quilts" by Raynes Gillmann. All fabrics that Anna uses are pima cotton and hand dyed by me.
