DIES und DAS - THIS and THAT

Der Sommer ist da und mit ihm kommen unsere Besucher. Das schrenkt meine Studioaktivitäten etwas ein, aber hei ... da geht man doch gerne an den See. Und damit ich zu dem Buch eine schöne Abwechslung habe, nehme ich mir natürlich eine Applikationsarbeit mit. - Summer came and so do our visiters. That of course limits my time in my studio but heee - any ecxuse is good to go to the lake. And we have plenty of them here in beautiful Bavaria. So in addition to my book I always take some application work with me.

Das ist Teil 1 von 4. Ein Sommerrock soll es werden, in dunkelbraun und weiß. Das Braun ist nicht ganz so dunkel wie auf dem Foto. Der Schnitt ist eine Kopie eines alten Rockes. Ich freu mich drauf, denn Röcke habe ich schon lange nicht mehr getragen. - This panel is 1 of 4 for a skirt I am looking forward to wearing this summer and will be a nice change to my pants I am usually wearing. The brown color is not as dark as in the picture. The pattern is a copy from an old skirt.

Damit meine Leser sehen, von welchen Seen ich spreche, hier der Walchensee, mein Lieblingssee.

Und wenn die Sonne nun mal scheint, dann auch ein kleiner And while the sun is bright why not doing some sunprinting! I have done it many times before just not with this kind of paint.Versuch mit sunprinting. Das ist nicht neu für mich, nur die Art der Farben. -

Ich benutze diese Textilfarbe(Profab) für meine Tees, sie soll auch für sunprinting geeignet sein. Schaun wir mal....- I am using this paint from Pro Chem for my T-shirts which according to their instructions  can also be used for sunprinting. Let's see.....

Das Ergebnis ist nicht berauschend, trotzdem zeige ich es mal. Es werden weitere  Versuche folgen. Vieles Schönes über sunprinting erfahrt Ihr auch auf diesem Blog. - The result isn't s.th. to brag about but I still like to show it. I will shurely  try some more.
