SHOW and TELL im KORNHAUS in KEMPTEN

Am vergangenen Samstag hatte ich das Vergnügen, beim Allgäuer Show and Tell dabei zu sein. Vor zwei Jahren hatte ich dieses Quilttreffen, das Bernadette Mayr jedes Jahr organisiert,  schon einmal mitgemacht. Auch diesmal war der große Saal, ein ehemaliges Theater, mit Quilterinnen aus der Umgebung gefüllt. Und wenn dann Bernadette auf der Bühne das Show and Tell mit ihren lustigen Kommentaren begleitet, dann weiß man, dass sich der Besuch gelohnt hat. Viele schöne Quilts von hochwertiger Qualität wurden gezeigt, einige davon möchte ich Euch zeigen.  -  Last Saturday I had the pleasure of attending a show and tell in Kempten/ Allgäu which is from Garmisch-Partenkirchen one and a half hours by car. Two years ago I went to the same event which has been organized every year in this part of Bavaria. Again this time the room, a former theatre, was packed with quilters from this area. And when Bernadette Mayr who leads the show on stage with her funny comments, you know that you will have a good time and that the trip was worth your time. I saw a lot of beautiful quilts of high quality which I like to show you without comments.

Das Treffen wurde von Bernadette mit ihrem zweiten neuen Quilt, gemacht fürs neue Buch, beendet. - The show was closed with Bernadette's second new quilt made for the new book too.
