Some months ago I did a piece in E. Nusser Lampe's workshop. Printing with grass and herbs was one thing we learned, using ready made napkin prints was another. While the latter didn't work for me, printing with natural growth I found interesting and more creative.
So this piece decorated my design wall for quite some time and I kept adding embroidery stitches here and there. I finally wanted to bring it to an end, still it needed a finished edge. It is a small piece and did not want to loose an inch, so a blanket stitch all around was the solution. To increase the size a bit more an old linen trousers found its purpose to make another simple quilt to which I attached the printing. Voila here is the final piece. Another UFO is finished and I am quite pleased.
