Meine Lieben Blogger Freunde, ich muss mich doch noch mal melden. Danke für Eure E-Mails, in denen Ihr nachfragt, was eigentlich los ist. Wenn Ihr hier nichts Neues findet, klickt an der rechten Seite auf Instagram, da seht Ihr wenigstens öfter neue Fotos.
Ja, warum ist eigentlich so wenig Bewegung auf meiner Seite? Der Hauptgrund ist die 2 Jahre lange Ausbildung zur Quiltjurorin , die ich bei der englischen Quilters Gilde mache. Im Oktober sind die 2 Jahre vorbei, und dann kann ich mich wieder auf andere Dinge konzentrieren. Tatsache ist, das alle Dinge, die ich machen muss wie verschiedene Nähtechniken und Oberflächengestaltungen, ich nicht ins Internet stellen darf. So habe ich halt wenig zu zeigen außer der Arbeit für die Gruppe "fifteenbyfifteen alle zwei Monate. Ein weiters Projekt " 30 Jahre Wiedervereinigung" für die deutsche Patchworkgilde liegt ebenfalls auf meinem Tisch. Drückt die Daumen, dass ich das schaffe. Ich werde auf jeden Fall davon berichten.
Was ich aber zeigen kann, ist das Ergebnis des Färbewochenende mit den Alpinen Quilter. -

Well, the main reason for my little posting is the Quilt Judging Course I am taking for two years organized by the British Quilters Guild. In October it all will be finished. All sewing and experimenting I am doing is connected to that and I can't post it on my blog. So there is not much left I could show you beside the workt for "fifteenbyfifteen" every other month. But there is still another project waiting to be finished by April. It 's for the German Patchwork Guild and the title is "Reunited after 30 Years". Keep the fingers crossed that I can make the deadline! What I can show you now at least is the result from the weekend with the Alpine Quilters doing low water immersion dying.
Das ist die gefärbte Meterware, mit der ich sehr zufrieden bin, auch mit dem Ergebnis meiner haupsächlichen gezielt gefärbten Pastelltöne. -
These are many yards of hand dyes which came out beautifully, specially the tones of light colors I was aiming for.

| durch die stramme Wicklung ist die Farbe nicht bis hierher gedrungen. Nur die Kordel hinterließ an manchen Stellen eine leichte Struktur,siehe Foto unten. - Due to tight wrapping the dye didn't not reach the upper left part. But the rope left some texture in some places, see photo below |
