Zwei Wochen bin ich schon wieder daheim in GAPA. Unser zweieinhalb wöchiger Aufenthalt in unserer alte Heimat Long Island ging viel zu schnell vorbei. Das letzte Mal war ich vor 6 Jahren dort. und auch jetzt ist mir immer noch Vieles vertraut, aber auch Vieles fremd geworden, Vieles hat sich verändert. Es war schön, mit den wenigen Freunden, die dort noch wohnen, Zeit zu verbringen. So sind wir gependelt zwischen den Hamptens, North und Southshore der Insel, und natürlich auch Manhatten. Und das alles bei herrlichem Sonnenwetter mit hohen Temperaturen. Was wollte man mehr?
Ich hatte mein Zeichenheft mitgenommen, es aber nie genutzt.
Dafür habe ich viele Fotos gemacht, wovon einige in meinen Ordner für Inspiration gewandert sind. Und wenn die Zeit kommt, kann ich darauf zurückgreifen. Es folgen nun Fotos, die ich mit meinen Lesern teilen möchte, Urlaubsfotos und Inspirationsfotos.

Two weeks ago I returned to Garmisch-Partenkirchen following my trip to Long Island/New York, my former home many years ago. My last visit was six years ago, then as now the feeling of "coming home" still exists. However, both times, I realized that many things have changed many friends have moved away or have died.
Now , we enjoyed even more spending quality time with old friends. We had a great time traveling between the Hamptens, North-and Southshore of the Island and of course Manhattan.

I took my drawing book along, but must confess, I never used it. Instead I took lots of photos, some for the usual memories and some for inspirations. I'll now share a few with my readers .
