2. ADVENT in GARMISCH

Ich wünsche allen meinen Lesern eine fröhliche zweite Adventswoche. Meine weihnachtlichen Akzente in Rot habe ich schon gesetzt:  Kerzen, Kissen, Decke, Blumen und Pflanzen, dieses Jahr alles in rot. Es gefällt mir so ( und meinem Mann Gott sei Dank auch) und ist auch nicht zu viel. - A happy  2nd week of Advent to all my European readers, a happy Christmas season to all my readers across the ocean. Unlikely other German people I already decorated our home for the upcoming Christmas season. This year the color "red " is definitly on my mind, that you can't miss:  candles, pillows, blankets, flowers and plants - everything in red. I like it this way (fortunately my husband as well) and it's not even too much.

 Seit gestern gibt es zum 1. Mal eine Eisbahn als Attraktion inmitten der Fußgängerzone. - As of yesterday and for the first time you can find a small icerink right in the pedestrian area . A new attraction and well received. 

 Gestern Abend waren alle zum Schlittschuhlaufen auf dem Eis, heute morgen kamen die Sportler zum Eisschießen.- Last night you could see all folks skating on ice , while this morning they came for curling.

Bei einem Rundgang heute morgen hatten wir diesen Blick vom Kramer auf das Tal. -  During our morning walk today we had this view from Kramer mountain into the valley.
