Beim Organisieren meiner Jersey Stoffe fielen mir größere Reststücke in rot in die Hände, aus dem ich mal ein Sommerkleid genäht hatte. Was kann ich daraus machen, wenn es zu einem neuen Shirt nicht reicht? Mit einem anderen Stoff kombinieren und Verbindung zu rot herstellen. Seht selbst, was daraus geworden ist.
Organizing my jerseys I found a larger piece of red fabric that was left when I had made a summer dress. But how can I use it when there is not enough yardage to make a t-shirt? Perhaps I can combine the red with another color and create a connection between the two. The photo below shows the result.
I sprayed the white part with water first before I applied red fabric paint.

Den Shirtschnitt habe ich von einem gekauften kopiert. Er ist etwas weiter und relaxed und sehr bequem für die Freizeit.
The pattern is a copy from one of my favorite shirts that I owe. It is a relaxed style and very comfortable to wear.
ÜBERRASCHUNG: Dieses Foto zeigt ein Stück selbst gefärbte Seide, eigentlich nichts Besonderes . Nur für die Färberinnen unter uns mag es interessant sein, dass ich die Procion MX Farbe aufgelöst fast 5 Wochen in einem Marmeladenglas im Keller aufbewahrt hatte. Dass die Farbkraft nach so langer Zeit noch so stark war, hatte ich nicht erwartet.
SURPRISE: This photo shows a piece of hand dyed silk - nothing special. But there are some facts that I like to share and might be interesting for those who like to dye. I used Procion MX dye diluted with water that I had stored in a jar in the basement for 5 weeks. The strong color after this period of time surprised me knowing that solutions of fiber reactive dyes gradually loose their strength.
